Thinking of running some Kendall GT-1 Full Synthetic 5W-20 in my 2007 Ford F-150 SuperCrew 5.4 3v motor. It seems to be cheaper than many Synthetics! Would I be making a good choice??? What can you tell me about this stuff? Thanks!

Kendall makes a good motor oil, but I believe there may be better synthetics out there for the money. (In terms of value) \:\!

It's Motorcraft Grp III "full synthetic". It's pretty much made for you Ford and will do a great job.

Very good product that I personally would use just as readily as any of the other name brand Grp III oils out there without pause. When purchased by the qt it is cheaper than most like PP, QS, VVL, etc... Those generally run cheaper only because you can get them in 5QT jugs at WM. Regular cost of GT1 p/ individual qt around here is $4.50-$4.99. As another poster mentioned ^^^ PepBoys has it on sale right now. 5 qts + a filter for $19.99. My local PB carries 5W-20.

I just went and picked some up. Very little written about it here. I figure worst case scenario it's only excellent.
