Man that sucks. Got a pic of the ding? If the paint is undamaged a PDR guy can fix it in a few minutes for $75-150.
Already lining up some options. We all know the outcome in a couple weeks will be another new Jetta post.

Kidding. PDR guy came out today and did a fantastic job! I'll post some pics tomorrow.
I haven’t looked but your probably right! Yes, very happy with the work. There's OCD and then there's greg24. His photo is in the textbook.
Glad you're happy with the fix.
Here is a “before” video of the dent. Sorry if it’s grainy. Looked fine before I uploaded to YT.
I didn't think of that.Probably should shoot some rustproofing oil on the inner side just in case the PDR guy scratched the electro coat up a bit.
Did he do it from the window opening or did he have to drill a hole or two?
The new Jetta we bought to replaced the previous Jetta in an accident just got door dinged today. I swear this stuff NEVER happened on any car we have owned since we started driving nearly 15 years ago. Must be a string of "bad luck". I contacted a PDR company to see what they say. The car hasn't been anywhere other than my wifes work. She parks next to coworkers so I can only assume that is what happened. It's pretty crappy that they said nothing. I'd love to know who it was so I can slap them with the PDR bill.
Insignificant, I know. A dent on a brand new car just stings, especially after replacing the last NEW one due to an accident.
Such is life!
AT least $150........Man that sucks. Got a pic of the ding? If the paint is undamaged a PDR guy can fix it in a few minutes for $75-150.
and that in 20 years it will probably start rusting there or the sun will cause the paint to flake.....How are you going to handle the psychological impact of knowing that the dent was there and that your pristine virgin panel is no longer perfect and untouched????
Stop trying to trigger my OCD!and that in 20 years it will probably start rusting there or the sun will cause the paint to flake.....
