As John mentioned, In most instances, Filtran is most likely the OE supplier for most of DCX automatic filters.
Filtran sells directly to the aftermarket and you can typically buy a OE filter for less from a transmission parts supplier. Avoid the filter/gasket kits at the auto parts places. They use the cheapest stuff your dollars can buy.
The one that came out of my Jeep Liberty was likewise a Filtran. I thought that was good because a Filtran was what I had gotten to put back in.
It also has a fluid return filter that I also replaced. It's a small spin-on filter with a bare metal case, no paint. Disassembled, it had a string around the element. Purolator manufacture ?
