How is it degrading telling the OP to return the car and look elsewhere? It's not as if Honda is the best value for his dollar. That would most likely be a Kia - great warranty and decent quality. He seems to be getting the shaft and it would be best to get your $$ back and walk away. At that point expand your horizons.
Judging by the OP's name sounds like he has a late model Mazda. They are fine cars too. Why the switch to Honda?
Did I strike a nerve with a Honda owner?

What was your answer going to be?
The same one it always is?
Since you know me so well, what is my answer. Come on now you should be able to answer for me.
Here's a few:

Hyundai Sonata
Like I said, a Hyundai/Kia product may be better for the OP as it has a better warranty than Honda.

You are laughable. You need to let at least 60PSI out of your ego.
Yes, I own two Hondas. So what. I own two Fords, also.
Both Hondas were the best value available when I bought them
The '12 I bought year end new and paid less than I could have bought the same car used.
It is an average car. It is a transportation appliance. Hondas are average cars that hold their resale pretty well. I have never portrayed myself as a Honda fanboy. I'm an average guy who drives an average car. I have no reason to be a fanboy. Honda is a good default choice. Maybe you can do better, but you can do worse.
You like Kia. Good for you. Not my can of beans, but to each their own. I'm not going to sit and rip them, however.
I'm gonna guess the OP bought an Accord because he wanted an Accord.
If he wanted a Kia, I'm sure he would have bought one of those.
Just like the posters on this forum who purchase or own Chrysler products did.
