the car looks too big to me. Not really a bad thing, but it looks like it's trying to be a crossover while still remaining a car.

If you don't like the handling, blame it on Christina Rodriguez. She's the tweaker. Rather colorful educational career ..and, apparently, a cancer survivor.

Quote:
The Ford College Graduate Program became the stepping stone into a career at Ford. During the program she held several positions to develop the corporate knowledge and an understanding of the professional requirements needed to pursue the different career paths available at Ford. In fall of 2005, Cristina was appointed lead suspension development engineer for the 2008 Ford Taurus and Taurus X platform. She has managed the tradeoffs between ride, handling and steering attributes of the future model vehicle. She has used objective metrics to drive changes during development, worked with the design activities to incorporate changes to suspension components that resulted in attribute improvements, and has continued to develop her core competencies. As one of the few women in this area in the entire automotive industry, Cristina hopes she can be an example to other young women engineers and open the door for others that want to go down this path.

As a cancer survivor, Cristina is involved with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Team in Training Program as a mentor. Spreading awareness and helping with programs in order to find a cure.
