It's getting nutty!

Ah yes, because that's how humanity got to be so advanced; by ignoring the knowledge that has already been acquired and documented and having each individual try every silly idea that comes into their head just to see if it will work!

I know you old geezers love to be cynical, but there might just be some merit to it. Why would a fleet trucking company decide to install such things on every semi AFTER testing if they didn't see any reason? No one runs a business like that.

I know it seems gimmicky, and it might not work. The conservation of energy properties boggle my mind and I can't see how it would work, but none the less, I am willing to admit it is possible.

Wow, that's proof that it isn't a scam because if it is this would be the first time that a corporation got fooled and did something dumb.

This is the first fuel-saving device I've seen in a long time that could actually help. The question to me is, does it use the engine's excess wasted heat to make the hydrogen, or does it draw from the engine's useable output. If the former, it would use that otherwise wasted heat to electrolyze water and add the hydrogen to the fuel mixture. Hydrogen will combust (Hindenberg). So you use a little free energy to get a little useful energy.

If it is getting the energy from the engine's useful output, I don't see how there could be a net gain. It would be H2O + energy -> H2 -> H20 + energy.

If it works, then whether it is practical or cost-effective is another question.

Wouldn't a flux capacitor do just as well?

While you obviously see yourself as a genius, do you really think a company is going to run a test with a product and then install it in every vehicle w/out seeing positive results. If they were that dumb, how did they even get their company started in the first place?

I really think that you need to start looking at the Joe Cell. Many are reporting some amazing results with it (less so if you live around HV power lines).

Problem with these tests (IMO) is that almost invariably the driver of the vehicle fitted with the device knows that his fuel economy is being tested, and will drive with that in mind.

So you've got the before with a fleet of wild drivers who don't own the kit nor pay the fuel bill, versus drivers who know that everydrop that goes through the rig gets counted.

I get 10% better mileage than my partner does in every car the we've owned. It's not because I believe in ghosts.
