Is this a valid argument against extended drains?

Does anyone know of any studies that show the percentage of imported oil as it relates to motor oils vs. gasoline and fuel/diesel oil? Is the overall number that significant vs. that of gasoline?

Seems to me anyone who is intent on extending OCIs solely because of trade or environmental issues, should be driving a golf cart.
