Is Penzoil Ultra supposed to have tinfoil seal

No seal on my jug and I'm just making sure my bottle hasn't been tampered with.

Packaging changes from time to time, but my Ultra from last year was crack-ring sealed.

Mobil 1 jug has no tinfoil seal either, just crack-ring-sealed. The only large jug has tinfoil seal is antifreeze. Zerex, Peak and Prestone all has tinfoil seal.

I think most Valvoline oils have foil seals. They used to ask for them in order to qualify for their rebates.

Some Castrol Oils have the foil seal. I picked up 2, 1 Gallon Jugs of Castrol High Mileage, SM oil. on clearance for $9 each at Kmart. Both Jugs have the crack-ring seals and, in addition, foil seals.

^^Same here. Every M1 jug I`ve bought has both the foil seal and the ring seal.

I always take off the cap and check the seal before I buy a 5 quart bottle.

You're good, no foil on my Ultra 5 quarts or gallons of Rotella T6
