hey all just wondering if running good vehicle or any certain additive that can make the throttle body clean itself over time?

i cleaned mine today on a used vehicle with 130k miles and im not sure if the service was ever done on my vehicle however it was pretty clean

like of course i was able to wipe off carbon/gunk but it didn't really look like it was that bad

is it possible good gasoline and other fuel additives can keep it clean or is it just luck of the draw?

Some engines just run a dirtier top end AFTER the tb due to design, PCV, intake/plenum gaskets etc. But I don't think any additive is going to help that.

IME it's not fresh air coming IN but rather oily/combustion vapors coming UP from the crankcase or heads.

Seeking to reduce blowby with heavier oil or a piston soak [or insert your preferred method here] might help a little.
