After hunting all over town for more german castrol with my buddy for his audi, we had a chat about if its really "worth it".
We went to three different autozones and spent almost an hour driving around and we couldn't find any on this trip.
We left with the Mobil 1 Truck and SUV 0w40 (delvac1) from walmart.
I wish that Castrol would just market it as SLX and not sneak it in with that other garbage that they call syntec.
It seems like Castrol north america is a funny operation, they have this great oil, but then they tell us that its the same as their other blend, and its green due to "logistics" and that the other syntec is the "same thing".
Mobil 1 doesn't lie to you, and you always know what it is, and you can walk into any automotive shop and buy whatever viscosity you like.
Just some thoughts.
