Is Delvac 1 really that good?

Just wanted to know what the reason would be for me to switch to delvac 1. I have a 5.3 Vortec and I've been using Mobil 1 SS. I usually wouldn't care but I've gotten addicted to this forum and I thought it would be interesting to try different oils. What are the primary benefits I would experience. Thanks Jon

The primary benefit is the better additive package. Also, if you're comparing it with Mobil 1 SS, Delvac 1 is more shear stable than 0W-40. Just look at the specs of Delvac 1. Jae
