Wouldn’t recommend. The wear indicators are starting to level with the tread after not even 2 years (May of 2023) and I don’t even beat on them. One leaks, none of them get any traction on anything other than clean, dry pavement. Even when they had plenty of tread on them they’d slide around when water was present at speeds of >55mph. As any rational person would say, don’t cheap out on the rubber circles that keep your car attached to the road, because sooner or later you’ll regret it as I am right now. Midwest has had snow on the ground for 2 weeks now and I still struggle to get in the driveway after a week of trying and failing to get out. Spring for the Goodyears and you’ll thank yourself.

If they suck why would you want another set even for free? Maybe to have new tires on a car you're selling?
C'mon. there are plenty of members on this forum who would snatch these up 'if they were free"!

How many miles?

I usually don't cheap out on tires but sometimes one does. Either needs to or because they think they don't need good ones, then later find out their needs changed (maybe it was a summer-only vehicle, only to get pressed into service for the winter for some reason or another).

Can you spring for a set of winter tires, then swap these tires back on come spring and get your money's worth out of them? Although by the sounds of it, I wouldn't, if new they couldn't handle 55mph on wet roads (assuming not standing water), the something seems amiss.

Looks like a so-so all season. Few sipes. Link.
