Fuch's pretty much recommends this oil for use worldwide in any modern engine in any climate. The Fuchs web site says it is all ester based and contains no VI improvers. And here is the kicker: It contains no ZDDP. [Eek!] Terry has hinted that the base oil chemistry in GC is similar to what is used in Titan GT1. But when it comes to additive chemistry, what do you suppose they are using for EP/AW in place of zinc and phos? Base oils doing double duty plus moly, boron, and calcium? I'd love to see a VOA of this oil.

Interesting. Can you post a direct link? [Cheers!] I think I've seen this before.

Fuchs has web sites all over the world and I can't find the one where it said the GT1 doesn't use VI improvers. [Frown] Fuchs Titan GT1 0w20

Where can you even buy it in the USA. I can find Silkolene but no Fuch oils. While searching for Fuch I even ran across porn sites that had padded their site with Fuch as spelling of the other "F" woard! It never ceases to amaze me how Porn sites can turn any word into something relateing to Porn!! I can only imagine what would come up if you typed in Super Syn!!
