Fuch's pretty much recommends this oil for use worldwide in any modern engine in any climate. The Fuchs web site says it is all ester based and contains no VI improvers. And here is the kicker: It contains no ZDDP.
Terry has hinted that the base oil chemistry in GC is similar to what is used in Titan GT1. But when it comes to additive chemistry, what do you suppose they are using for EP/AW in place of zinc and phos? Base oils doing double duty plus moly, boron, and calcium? I'd love to see a VOA of this oil.
