Just got my first UOA back from Blackstone (awaiting Terry's analysis)---I did the analysis because I'm losing coolant and there are no visible external leaks--I have to add 10-12 ounces every couple of months--anyway, the potassium is 17 (universal average is 1)--do I have an internal coolant leak? Thanks! (everything else looks ok except viscosity 54.5)

Well, no doubt Teryy will tell you. He's still bragging about calling a bad head gasket on Bror Jace's car in 2001.

Without listing the type of coolant, car or posting the analysis we know as much as you before doing a UOA.

You need to post the analysis, vehicle, engine and mileage. There's other factors that point to coolant leaks too.
