Give the contract to chinese..they will send illegals over here to collect the plastic, send it back to china and ship it back here as base stock. Interesting..thanks for posting.
This effort reminds me of the thermal depolymerization article from a science mag, that to was mentioned on BITOG, and is being tested with handling Butterball Turkey's waste stream...remember anything into oil???? That's just it, about everything except radioactive wastes could safely be run through the system, with products such as water, minerals, and various petrol stocks resulting.
Amazing, and though this may be new for Chevron's doing, it's nothing new somewhere around the world. Good news none-the-less.

Rememeber, on a global scale, communists are no different from capitalists. So no, it really doesn't make any difference.
Of course, definitions of what "communism" is vary but......
I'll be derned if I have ever heard of a real communistic-style nation-state ever existing upon the globe.
All I ever see are groups of elites using various facades to blind the masses into believing that the way things are is correct, proper, and as it should be.

When I die, my body will first be used to teach Anatomy to med students. Next, it will be converted into soylent green base oil.
