The article is pretty pedesitrian compared to the info contained on this site. However, there was an interesting qoute found on page 3. Talking about synthetics:

I am betting that they are talking about the lack of certification symbols on certain Amsoil products. They are not going to become a responsible party to support more lawcritters.
