intake manifold on 03 Mazda 6 4cyl motor

Have leak and idle is bad as a result. How bad a job to replace this piece of plastic they call a intake manifold??

Do you mean a leak in the intake gasket or the intake itself?

Either way you have to take the manifold off and put a new gasket on.

I have not decided yet because I used smoke and found the smoke rising on the right side. This looks like a lot of removing of things too. I just wondered has anyone done this job??

How'd you do the smoke? Did you rent a machine?

No I have a local station with one he charges me $20 to blow smoke. Neat but is does not tell you all unless area is 100% visible.
