Before I started reading more and more posts, I had it figured out on my wife's new V6 Accord. Switching to synthetic, screw the QS warranty. (I was the one that brought up that topic and agree that it's a marketing hype) Am not comfortable with QS. So, after much reading, I thought I had the ultimate choice to keep this car running past 200K, Mobil 1, 0W-20 with Purolator Plus filters (they had good flow on Bob's flow test demo and I've been using them for ump-teen years). Then read some more, I'll Auto RX it with QS, then Mobil 1 it (car is 02 with 36K). Well, Mobil 1 was the choice because of the moly and zinc content. BUT

after reading SOME MORE, seems that moly isn't ALL THAT when using a synthetic and that Amsoil or Bobzoil is actually better, etc. etc.
Help me, I'm fallen and I can't get up.....

If it were my car, I'd run Amsoil Series 2000 0W-30, and change it every 10,000 miles. I've had excellent results with this oil in my Honda Prelude.
