... you won't rent/buy a Ford Freestar. If someone on this board owns one, I'm sorry. I'm 19, my little sister is 17, and my little brother is 13. We got a great deal on a 2006 Freestar to rent for our drive to Atlanta.... it has the 4.2L V6 engine, which drives more like a 4cyl... it could be fact that it has 2000 miles on it now. It can't track straight and the windshield is at the perfect angle that headlights coming at you make a glare.
That's not the worst of it.. If you guys have time, go sit in the back seat of the Freestar. It's like I'm sitting on the floor. The 3rd row is the absolute worst. Even my little nephews hated the seats. They are so low and they are as hard as a rock. Nobody slept until we hit Georgia.... about 100 miles from our destination and about 900 miles into our journey. The van tired your out driving it. I made my dad stop so I could take over because he loooked so tired and as soon as he got in the back, he just collapsed (and woke up with a crick in his neck).
Maybe for little kids, this van is ok, but in all honesty, I checked the MSRP on this van (SEL, captains, 6-CD, 4.2L engine, power seats, rear AC) and you can get a better van for that money.
