I think I found the ultimate diesel add mixture!

So I was playing around today and decided that since I had a bunch of FP and a bunch of PowerService Silver laying around that I would make a mixture that would be a good cleaner, lubricant, and cetane booster. I mixed the 2, 2:1 PS:FP and put 9 ounces of this stuff into ~12 gallons of diesel. I drove around for 30 or so miles after this and the performance, engine noise, and starting all seem to be improved!

Next: I will try this with PS White to see what I can make for a winter brew...

FYI, you might want to try rotella DFA instead of power service.

I documented thousands upon tens of thousands of miles in my 83 MB diesel before a girl ran into it and destroyed it. There was a statistically significant difference in MPG improvement between the rotella and PS, redline, etc. Higher MPG means higher cetane, better running, cleaner operation, less soot loading in the oil, etc.

mixing the benefits of rotella with FP would surely be a winner.
