My neighbor is a welder and we were bored. So I took the oldest of my three mowers and did this.
It is easily reversible. Drives like normal we had a blast making it, tears through the mud. Two 1/4 inch flanges with 1/4 inch pipe between them. We made two of those adapters. I can actually use it, my lawn is large with few obstacles. Just something to do. I think we are putting stacks on it next.

4 bolts on each flange. Put tire on mower, bolt on adapter, bolt outer tire to adapter.

Craigslist years ago like 30 bucks.

12 bucks on Amazon, wired right in to the headlight loom.
Was a project to do with the kids. I let them put set on each of my old mowers.
I can't believe how bright they are for 12 bucks.

Hahahaha, we really had blast making it, we were laughing the whole time.

The neighbor has a quad trail next to his house. This thing tore it up in the mud. It still mows but we are thinking about taking the deck off and putting
large tires on the front. There are spares all over Craigslist.
