I know its been beat to death...but...ANOTHER ARX SUCCESS!!

600 miles into the rinse phase of my wife 98 Camry with 160K miles.

Had some terrible valve chatter and I have even scheduled a valve adjustment appointment for later this month. I personally haven't driven the car since the rinse phase, but today I had the pleasure of cranking it up for the first time.

I was simply astonished!!! What used to be a very loud chatter is now COMPLETELY GONE.

I mean, you can't hear squat coming from the valvetrain now!! Its totally silent!!

So silent that I'm canceling the appointment I had earlier made.

A total of 2100 miles since I put in the ARX and I'm seeing real $$ results from this product!! I can only imagine what the remaining 1400 miles will bring. Not to mention the 2nd treatment and subsequent rinse phase.

Hmmm, I really think this might help my engine. Its valve "clatter/chatter" is pretty intense.

For the $$$ its worth shot, and besides, it wont hurt anything.
Honestly, I wasn't even expecting to see any improvements in the valve chatter. I decided to use it because of the simple fact one of my motors had 160K and the other 106K. (I bought enough ARX for 2 clean and 2 rinse phases...4 bottles).
Thats why it was such a shock when I noticed the valve chatter gone. Guess I thought valve chatter was due to the valve clearance distance growing over time. I don't know....Im not a mechanic. I just didn't think valve chatter was caused by gunk buildup, and maybe its not.

All I know for sure is this car has had valve chatter for at least 100K miles and in 2K miles after adding ARX, the chatter is silent...gone...finito...hasta las vista baby...

Don’t forget to use the 3oz maintenance dose, I have been doing so since all of my cleanings and 30-40k miles later the engines is just as good as new. This is confirmed by oil analysis and emission reports on my side.

Keep us posted on the absence of the valve chatter as you proceed through the rinse and next cleaning cycle. How does the rinse oil look after only 100-200 miles? My guess is that it will darken fairly quickly, suggesting a second cleaning application. Whereby additional deposits are impregnated with ARX ester cleaners, systematically being gradually carried away by the fresh rinse oil.

The car now has 400 miles on the rinse oil. The oil is still as fresh looking as when it was put in. The vavle chatter is still gone.
