i have a 30 year old sears electric compressor at my parents house that i used growing up for air guns and other things what oil should i use in the compressor it has never been changed.. You need real insurance if you have insurance that pays half and you are in the hospital for surgery your savings may be gone

20wt Non-deterent Oil OR 30wt ND if it is in a heated garage all the time.

Be prepared for a fair amount of sludge when you change it out. This is NORMAL. With the amount the compressor would take you may want to change it out, run the compressor up to normal operating temps and then change it out again. Then depending on usage, change it out every year.

I quite like the Amsoil 20 weight compressor oil for my small compressors. Make it very easy for them to kick over in my unheated, uninsulated garage even when it's -20ºC. Been running it for 5+ years with an annual oil change.
