Yeah I would not run it either with that size of a dent in it.

Dented cans in the grocery store may or may not be a big deal. Now cans that are pushed up on the top or bottom of the can ... That's like biological warfare in a can.

And if one is buying salad dressing or mayonnaise... Check the dates when purchasing. Those can go out of date on the shelf. When I worked at Winn Dixie we found mayonnaise that was a year out of date on the shelf. Towards the far back end of the shelves but it was there.

I picked up a 10 pack when I got the Tucson. About 2000 miles into the first oil change (since we bought the car anyway) and so far so good. Not that I would expect anything different no matter what filter I put on though.

I did an oil change this weekend and I found one these filters from the original 6 pack dented on the dome side. I tossed it into the trash. I'm done buying filters online.
