many maintenance procedures SEEM unneeded until you guessed its too late $$$$ many owners put off better general fluid changes, but if like many they trade often + at lower miles! i am a high miler + once i find what i want it stays a LONG time which is economical in the long run. several preowned older cars went to 200 thou + only my second bought new vehicle a 2001 jetta 1.8T was traded at 200 thou running great! retired + wanted a new toy so i bought a lo mile 2001 15 YO Audi TT 225Q roadster + love my first drop top!!!

What kind of oil? Must be a good oil to last that long.

Edit:
I see it's factory fill ... Probably lots of moly, otherwise it would have died sooner.

Yeah but they saved around $350.
And the time at the dealer or under the car.
What I can't figure out is why they took the time to dismantle/document ???????
Move on. Engines to destroy, time's a wastin' !
