Too bad, just when Hyundai was starting to get a lot of good press and present some real competition to the Japanese auto makers:

"The head of Hyundai Motor, Chung Mong Koo, was arrested today on charges of embezzlement and other corruption, a major blow to the world's seventh-largest carmaker just as it is pushing for global expansion."

Do you think this will hurt them a lot?

Too early to tell. There may be more to this story than currently reported. "Big Daddy"'s younger brother committed suicide several years ago when it became known he had channeled money to the North Korean government in the past to win lucrative construction contracts for the family business.

Funny that Chung Mong Koo translates to Ken Lay in English. Is that wild or what?
