I wonder if the dealers are still going to use bulk 10w30 conventional if they can still get it and say "it's what we use in all our vehicles, it should be fine". That is what I usually hear from dealers.

I wonder if full synthetic will save the Theta-III(Smartstream) engines?????

2.0T also got an initial early break-in oil/filter change

My take on this.... someone at Hyundai is 'hoping' that synthetic oil is the fix for the bean counting accountants' floggings of the manufacturing engineers!

0W-16 or 0W-20 for road trip?

Be careful with the latest Toyota engines. I read somewhere that it may give you issue when using oil other than 0w-16. I am not sure on the detail, though.
