This looks to be a cheap way to pick up a few HP. I think Mopar is going to be releasing one. Not sure if I should wait or not. This looks decent.

How cheap? Keep in mind that a lot of people who get Hypertechs and dyno their own cars don't see the full claimed increase. Check some of the performance car forums.

These chips usually give you a bit more hp by bumping your timing up. But then you must run premeium fuel. Also they seem to give the most benefit by altering the transmission's shift points and characteristics to allow for "crisper" more firm shifting. Sometimes they hold it in gear longer before upshifting to the next gear. Some people notice a significant difference and other's don't

There are lots of chip "tweakers" out there now-a-days. Be careful on the transmission tweaks, they increase line pressures that make it seem the gear changes are "grabbing" better. But, they can do a lot of harm to your transmission also and shorten the transmission life. I personally would install a shift kit in lieu of changing transmission adjustments manually. There are some tweakers that do not require super graded fuel, but by far, most of your hp increases will indeed come from timing changes and super grade fuel.
