Husqvarna ride on. Can someone help identify this part?
There is a 2 foot metal bar that connects from one side of the steering to the other.
The connecting bar has two circular holes that snap down on to this pic part. The two foot connecting bar fell off and the steering doesn't work.
I rubber hammered it back on but too bumpy and it fell off.

The pictured metal circles with a rubber washer type thing and the bar that connects them....looking for the names so I can order parts.

Control arm

That's it control arm and would I need to order the part pictured above the metal ball circular type thing or is that part of something else.

Yes I think that is it. That control arm rotates on that circle pivot. Looks like it comes with it.

Yes go to a parts site and find your model there will be drawings of how the machine goes together and numbers for all the parts. Identify the part on the drawing then look at the number key. You don't need to know what the part is called, mower parts don't really work that way.

On a truck which has the same kind of steering mechanism, the rods that transmit motion from the steering box to the wheel knuckles are called tie rods. One wheel is moved directly which causes the other one to move the same amount using a second rod across the front to "tie" them together.
