Why did every humanoid have to come from Africa? If Neanderthals were in Europe, why couldn't they have evolved there? Or somewhere else? India, Mesopotamia, etc.?

And considering that we apparently share 50% of our genes with bananas, or 99% with mice, then how does this work out? 1-4% of a unique 1% of total genes?

Good theory, the intermingling surely happened, not sure I buy any aspect of the rest of it.

Neanderthals did not go extinct because of intelligence. They were possibly more intelligent.

But that isnt part of the discussion. We arent questioning extinction or history of them.

Merely how one could truly make such a determination when we share 50% of our DNA with a banana, and 99% with a mouse...
