I saw a lot of views, but no replies. I just want to test that the pump is working before reassemling the case and puting the transfer case back in the truck.
I was getting a grind noise after the transfer case heated up, and on deceleration loads and when going over bumps but all the internals "look" good. Was thinking is it possible that maybe the pump is not getting oil where it needs to be, causing a bearing to heat up?
