How Often Do You Change Plugs?

I just did mine in the fx last night. I did them the first time at about 55k, this time I went 45k. Looked great, car runs better with the new plugs.

I have two cars that use the same plugs, one they are destroyed in 40k, the other they still look great at 40k. I have posted pictures

I've noticed more problems with wires. The roughness was minor and hard to figure out. I had replaced the wires, but it didn't last long till problems again.

On a Chevy truck I'll never change a plug again. I did mine at 90k and they looked like new! Next truck I'll run to 200k and never touch them unless I get a miss fire.

Modern plugs are just about lifetime.

I find that most platinum plugs last 60K-80k even if the OE says they can go for 100K. Copper plugs were close to extinction when I became a professional, so I don't know how much life they would have. I was told 30K is typically the life

I listen to the engine carefully, and if something doesn't sound good, I replace the plugs. I have never replaced a plug that didn't need it when I use this method.
