My time off is unlimited since I'm retired. When I was working it was 2 weeks for the first 5 years, then 3 qeeks until 15 years, then 4 weeks until 25 then 5 weeks (not a lot of people make it to that ctagory), Plus the norml national holidays, about 10 per year. Sick time was as required and was essentially unimited but had to be justified.
I the last couple of decades few people work very many years at one job, so most people in the country don't get beyond 3 weeks, many never get beyond 2 weeks.
There is also a good percentage of people in the US working in jobs with no paid time off.
