What I mean is, how many of you have owned a car when it 'rolls over' an even number - 100,000, 200,000...etc..and how many have you seen do that, or how many times have you seen one car do it?

I'm about to see my 4th car roll 200,000km. In order, they are:

1986 Honda Civic - bought with 150,000km on it, saw it roll 200,000km; wrecked it like 100km after that!

1991 Toyota Corolla - bought it with 121,000km on it, saw it roll 200,000km, sold it to a buddy at 218,000km (dumb move!).

1993 Mazda 323 - bought it with 140,000km on it, saw it roll 200,000km, junked it at 221,000km.

2002 Chevrolet Cavalier - my current car, bought it with 89,000km on it, saw it roll 100,000km, currently has 199,801km on it. In the next week for sure it will roll 200,000km.

What are yours? (I'm aware they'll be in miles, most of them)

'84 Honda Prelude- rolled over 100,000mi. a couple of times. I believe the odo was tampered with because I could reverse it back to 99,999.9. Good little car though, bought it at 90,000mi and sold it at 175,000mi.

Let's see:

My mom's 78 Mercury Zephyr 100K
My 75 Buick Century 100K
My 79 Ford Fairmont 100K
My 87 Buick Lesabre 100K
My wife's 2002 Camry, twice 100K and 200K
My 94 Geo Prizm 200K

1988 Mitsubitshi Pickup - rolled over once, scrapped at 114K miles.
1994 Ford F250 - rolled over once - gave it away at 168K miles.
1997 Ford F250 - rolled over once - traded it at 130K miles.

Hmmm, a few.

I saw it roll over 100,000 miles on both my old Novas, my Fiero, my S-10 truck and a couple work vehicles.

I saw my old Beretta roll over 100,000, 200,000 and 300,000 miles, and have pictures of the last two with all the zeros lined up.

Also,

1999 Chevy S10 ZR2- currently 118,400mi. (bought it new, and no LIM gasket failure...yet, it's a sludge free dex machine)

'64 Buick Le Sabre
'68 Ford T-bird
'73 Chevy Chevelle
'80 VW Rabbit Diesel
'90 Chrysler LeBaron GT
'97 Volvo 850 (still have, at 207k)

I have watched all my cars do it... I spend a lot of time on the road for my job and when it's close I keep watching it until it rolls over. Fun to do!

1990 Mustang - 100K miles. Sold it with 110K.

2001 Chevy Silverado 2500 - Didn't see it hit 100K but was driving it when it hit 123,456 miles, which I think is very cool.

2004 GMC Sierra - Almost there now, will prolly hit it in the next year or so.

once... 98 Chrysler Sebring LX coupe (not convertible) with a 5 speed manual (loved that car) - 100k miles, traded it in at 103k with bad engine (dented oil pan blocked pick up)

88 BMW 528e purchased in 7/96 with 149.5 k miles on the odo. Retired 12/07 with 350k miles. Original engine and trans, fuel pump and alternator. 4-5K OCI using Supertech 20w50 and STP filters. Never drove a car that long or that many miles. Saw it roll over @ 200k and 300k
350k miles is by no means exceptional for these cars. Guy I met has 500k on his.

1999 F150 with a 5.4 V-8....131,000 miles, and runs like a top. It can blow the tires off easily on dry pavement.

The truck gets oil/filter changes every 4 months.

Not my vehicle, but I was driving the company's Chevy Astro van when it rolled over 300k. I have no idea if that's original mileage or not, the company bought it with about 290k on it and we don't really know it's history.
