How Long Is An Oil Sample Good For?

Hi, I took a sample and got it ready to send to Blackstone labs. This was about 3-4 weeks ago. Things came up and I had to leave town for a while and the sample still sits here today. Is it still okay to send it in or has it been sitting too long?? Thanks Drew PS 1st Post - Newbie, Go Easy........
