Here`s what my oil (Valvoline white bottle 20W50) looks like after 3 months of nothing but 2 mile commutes every day back and forth to work. If I didn`t have to wear a suit/tie,I`d just hop on my mountain bike every day :^)

I like the 20W50, at operating temp 5W20 has the same kinematic viscosity of corn oil... (useless fact I know, just poking the thin oil people...)
