I was fixing up a broken coffee mug. The handle has broken off several times, but always at different locations. I don't really care but this has sentimental value and I'll fix it even though it looks odd even with six different breaks at the handle.
However, I'm wondering how it's best to use it. Apply it thin and then try to clamp it down (I've used rubber bands) until it sets? Maybe wait until it partially hardens before applying to the surfaces, but then have less time to work with it. I had the latter happen by accident and I though it was a bit easier to work with when it would partially stick rather than needing to be clamped down.
Also - what do you use to clean up before it really hardens. In the past I've used rubbing alcohol to try to remove the excess, but I had some lighter fluid that I use as a solvent cleaner.
