I think the heading says it all.
I am in 3rd year Marine Engineering and after I graduate I wish to become Certified Lubrication Specialist.
Is it a online course or do I have to find a program in a college somewhere or can I challenge the test?

Go here it takes a few hour test at a national STLE convention. I would go to a local section meeting and start meeting some CLS huys that can help a lot I have had mine since they started 10? years ago now they certification for oil monitoring, metalworking and grease is on the way.
Only advice is learn all you can then learn more and when taking test write down as much real knowledge and BS as you can. LOL
