How come no one is talking about OS age verification?

Chris Barnatt has a very clear and concise video on the subject, like always. It's geared more towards the Linux side but lots of good info regardless of what OS you're using.

In the US it only really matters if Red Hat implements it or not. As far as I can tell they will implement it. So, nothing to talk about.
Nobody really runs Red Hat other than on corporate computers.

About how do you enforce it: you can't enforce anything on things that have no money in it. Open Source will always be forking and the people who make money on top "may" fork a version that they make money off service, and thus enforce it that way.

I'll go pirate if that kind of stupid **** is enforced. I already had enough about IT using more than 50% of my CPU cycles that I uninstall my webcam from Device Manager and then taped over. I caught it turning on randomly without my permission.

Keep doing that and I'll go back to Windows 10, 7, or even XP inside a VirtualBox, then VPN to Switzerland.

Generally, because most people don't consider, or care about how their online presence is utilized, monitored, monetized, or otherwise subject to scrutiny from third-parties. Or about privacy, and the implications that arise from measure such as these.

And because most who serve in authoritative positions are technophobes, legislation such as this is passed and enacted without objection, from the constituency who purportedly are the ones that should be served.

Low effort constituency = low quality government. Applies to everywhere and everyone. Rinse and repeat.
