I’ve been buying their fresh ham bones for years. After carving, there’s plenty of ham slices remaining for a couple of meals for my wife and I. As an added bonus we have a nice meaty bone for ham and bean or 15 bean soup. We rinse the brown sugar off the ham before cooking or else the soup will be sweet tasting. Our 4.5 lb ham bone was $9 and they often have a BOGO sale which we freeze for the perfect winter soup day.

Adding pork, beef or chicken bones to soups and broths makes meals far more nutrient dense than adding meat alone.
