Honda J35 timing belt question

The Honda threadlocker has always been "dry," so I think all dry threads can see the same torque value.

I've always cracked them loose and ran them out with a cordless ratchet. Never really noticed.

As usual, technician's discretion...but please own the outcome of your repair.
Of course- thanks for the useful observations and cautions

In the context of the question about required bolt replacement being due to thread locker application I think you can figure out the rest.
It is entirely possible that service procedures and thought processes have changed since 1996.

Look at the threads, fine thread bolt usually don't use or need thread locker. If threading into aluminum a small amount of never seize is prudent especially if using the old bolts where the anti corrosion coating may be gone.
