I have a stash of leftover bottles of Honda DP fluid and no longer own a Honda. Beside selling on Craig's or killing weeds with it, what else can it be used for, PS fluid? Mouthwash? Maybe I'll just donate to a worth cause. Thanks.

Collectible, but only if it still is in the original package

Donate to a needy military veteran in your area. Great worthy cause.

It goes in the rear differential of Honda CR-V's and Elements.

Is it original Dual Pump or the Dual Pump II? I'd be interested if the latter.

What design is a crv rear diff? Hypoid, bevel, worm, hydrostatic?

Its gotta be either glorified atf, gear oil, or mtf.

Gotta be an application somewhere.

Hypoid main gear set.

If it's DPF II I'll take it!

Yes, DPF goes in the Honda CRV and Element rear diffs... it's a VERY specially formulated fluid that has hydraulic and gear oil properties (my explanation, not Honda's), and you MUST use this fluid in these diffs, otherwise you WILL cause damage/destroy them.

I think it is actually most similar to a CVT fluid, after all they used to recommend their Honda CVT fluid in their diffs. IIRC

No other use I can think of.
