Honda / Acura specialist (Mirror Question)

Ok - this mirror seems needlessly complicated. I cannot find a decent diagram of how it goes together and what you see is how it was handed to me.

It is off a 1996 Acura RL Base. I understand that Odyessy's use a similar one. I had to have a windshield put in it and was told the spring usually breaks. Also that they could not get the screw out. Obviously the large screw on the back side is going to have to come out to install the spring and large washer, but does the front screw also have to come out and in what order and orientation do the two springs and washer go?

It wasn't safelite and if they could have gotten it back on I wouldn't be here asking...

Remove the big screw, which is left hand thread so rightly loosey lefty tighty. Install the hook plate, spring, and washer then reinstall the big screw. Install on the mounting block on the windshield then tighten the small screw

So it seems that the detail my glass guy (and I) was unaware of is the left hand thread. He tried to get the screw out and even took it to a friend at a body shop who tried to get it out. Turns out they were just tightening it. Glad they did not break the mirror (its NLA)

Screw came right out left handed.

It is also not apparent until you actually get it out or look a the new big screw, that it is one screw.
