Honda A02 with ~5k miles

Just did an OCI today on my Pilot and used an A02 for warranty purposes. Also have one on my Accord and it does the job just fine.

You could've definitely gone more than 5K miles with Quaker State Ultimate Durability and this filter.

Honda says to go 10K miles on the there A02 ?

If they say so, then i disagree unless as I said its a syn fluid on a car thats kept up...
and even then i feel its risky..

However I never said I know more then honda.

Honda says 20k for their filters on my 04 Element! 10K oil change and change the filter every other OCI. Don't know anyone that actually did that though.

Is there only one interval 10k, listed in the manual? My cars all say two, severe service is stop and go driving, etc., and then normal which appears to be something no one does on Earth. My Chrysler says change filter very other time for normal, I don't, I want the 1/2-1 qt of old oil out that the filter holds and blocks from draining. I change it less than once a year, $5 more over three years use isn't going to change my life.

On our Hondas I do 15K miles minimum on the oil filter.
