Once every 1-2 weeks I wash the Accord in my sig. The usual procedure is the use the two bucket method with Meguiars Wash/Wax shampoo, then rinse, then dry with microfiber. This process with a follow up of spray wax takes about an hour. Today I decided to try something different...a "touchless" wash. I mixed up the Meguiars Ultimate Wash/Wax in an old Windex bottle, sprayed down the car then allowed the water to sheet off. Then I sprayed down the car with the mixture, allowed it to dwell for about 5 minutes, then sprayed it off. Again sheet-ed the water off with the garden hose then blow dried it with our electric leaf blower. Here are the results...
It even removed a bit of brake dust
Cleaned up some of the grime on the windows also
Overall it did a good job of getting all the surface fall out off the paint. Oh, and it took about 15-20 minutes from start to finish.
