1978 gmc sierra grande K30 454 4spd 4x4 6 mpg had 4:10 gears i later swapped the gearing for 3:73 and replaced the 454 with a 350 and fuel economy improved to 13 mpg.
1994 ford aspire 1.3 liter 5spd 40-44 mpg it is awesome.

Highest: 2001 Ranger 2.5L I4 manual...averaged over 28 MPG on long trips. Typical MPG was around 21-23.

Lowest: 2002 Ranger 3.0L V6 auto. 23 MPG is the highest it has ever averaged on a trip. Worst tank was slightly over 11 MPG on E85. Typical MPG is around 16. Both older 4.0s I have owned have easily gotten better MPG.

Highest: Hyosung GV250 motorcycle, 78 mpg between SoCal and Laughlin. 50-60 mph because it was so [censored] cold outside and we didn't have proper gear.

Lowest: Our current Tacoma towing ~2,000 lbs with another 500+ in the bed, all freeway 60-70 mph. 17 mpg.

It gets over 40 without even trying and letting the engine rev up fairly high before shifting, it sips petrol.
