I was at my local Wal-Mart today and Rotella was $ 8.88 per gallon Castrol GTX $9.97. Just last week Rotella was $7.49

WELCOME to Walmart the home of price roll back.
It's getting scary. At Pep Boys last night, Mobil 1 Extended Performance was something like $7.30/qt. I almost puked in the aisle when I saw that. I'm thinking about building an oil stash since prices just keep going up.

So true! Next week they'll bring the price back down to where it was before, and tell everyone it's a rollback! My local Walmart does that all the time on many items. Most people never notice though.

Some of these increases throughout all of Wal-Mart, is probably due to society forcing them to pay higher wages and more benefits.
