High performance or regular synthetic??

Hello everyone,
I want to use a premium synthetic oil (manufacturer claim)and I noticed from it's SDS (see attached) that it contains small percentage of esters and I don't see any PAO ,
Is it considered premium 100% synthetic and can I use it for racing ??

The 2nd ingredient in that list is PAO.
 
What exactly do you have that your going to use in a matter that would stipulate the use of a "racing" type oil.

Your 21-24 dollar bottle of 5w-40 euro oil like castrol edge or Valvoline euro is a good option. Synthetic 15w-40 diesel oil like delvac extreme with 1k ppm of zn and ph with an hths of at least 4.1 would be good enough for really any performance street engine. If it's something with fuel dilution and forced induction then the recommendation changes.

If that doesn't do it walmart shelf mobil 15w-50 full syn is also an option. I wouldn't really bother with some boutique oil unless it's truly something special.

Those numbers aren't even particularly impressive. A flash point of 216°C
is mediocre at best for a 5W-50 'synthetic', since even many conventional
oils exhibit superior numbers.
Again, which oil are you talking about? Why shall we talk about some ghost
oil? Is this just a quiz game? If so you did place your question in the wrong
section.
Guess you're better off using either Porsche A40 approved M1 or use some
boutiquish but undoubtly high quality HPL or RL real synthetic instead. If
you're in Europe consider Ravenol, if in Australia just get Penrite 10 tenths.

Honestly if I were racing or tracking a nice car I wouldn't use anything but a real race oil, the people at HPL seem quite knowledgeable and legit and of course there is Red Line. I sure as heck wouldn't use an oil based on a PDS/SDS and Internet recommendations.

Isn't this an 'internet recommendation' itself?

How come I know someone driving a 03 Corolla with 300,000k on the clock no fancy oils used just Castrol GTX, super tech, cam 2, wolf's head?

How could you possibly make that determination based upon the information you provided?
Because the best way to ascertain the quality of a lubricant is to judge it by the chemicals listed on the MSDS document and infer its ability to do its job well by the wear number provided on the UOA. /s

I’d trust Mobil 1 Racing or a boutique like Amsoil, HPL, or Redline
