I have a HF Viking electronic charger (the model that goes to 15 amp) and it works well, however the first one I took home died within a week. There seems to be little or no quality control on these and it's a matter of luck if you wind up with a good one. The standard warranty is only 90 days, and if you buy the extended warranty you are really just pre-paying the replacement at a discount.
It seems there is little or no quality control on these. If and when this one dies I'll spend a few more dollars and get a better brand, or just stick with my 1970s-vintage Schauer "dumb" charger.
