HELP WITH SATURNS

Ok, so in removing the intake of my mother's 2001 Saturn sl1, I found this part is broken. What is it?

That vehicle needs some help me thinks. Glad it’s still going though; coworker has a 95 SL 4 dr one that he puts a LOT of miles on

Yup, found the tear in the intake gasket. Engine almost sucked it in.

Yup, found the tear in the intake gasket. Engine almost sucked it in.

I had the same thing on one. In fact eljefino helped me diagnose it from the high idle speed.
